The night is mysterious, and this mystery is full of temptation! Dali's night is very charming and interesting under the black veil.
We brought insect boxes, held insect clips, wore headlamps or flashlights, and walked into the Erhai Lake, the grass, and the woods. We were like little fireflies, with curious eyes wide open and a curious heart, exploring and discovering in nature in the middle of the night ... a big spider 🕷️, a fleshy caterpillar, or a fat stag beetle, a lazy snake, accompanied by the chirping of cicadas and the singing of crickets. What little elves can we find on such a night is like opening a blind box! The joy brought by this unknown and unpredictable feeling is indescribable!
For children, such night viewing experience is a joy, a knowledge accumulation, a must-learn course for the best childhood memories, and an enlightenment of love for nature! Years later, when they grow up, whenever they recall the experience of exploring the Erhai Lake or the dense forests of Cangshan Mountain at night with their parents, friends and teachers when they were young, they will smile knowingly.
For adults, such night observation, especially staying up late at night and going out with a group of like-minded people to look for insects, reptiles and unknown creatures, is an experience that is simply too attractive! The world at night is completely different from the daytime, and many species are nocturnal! When you immerse yourself in it and discover all kinds of strange insects, frogs, and even snakes, don’t you feel like you have returned to your childhood and are enjoying the long-lost childhood time?
