Honghong | “3 restaurants i have opened“
On the high-speed train to Yangshuo, while watching new teaching videos for my work, I was also remotely coordinating the transfer of the small courtyard's southern district store with Shitou. My heart was full of mixed emotions.
The three stores I opened in Dali over the past ten years have been the most important part of my personal growth. From being someone who couldn’t cook, had never run a business, and lacked self-confidence, to developing all the dishes for the menu, designing the menu, handling cold meals, delivering takeout, and training employees, I have become a more independent, confident person. I really love the changes I've gone through in these ten years.
However, in the past two years, my work and life focus has gradually shifted from the restaurant to leading hiking tours, which I feel is what I truly want to do. So, reluctantly, I decided to transfer the last store to Shitou, who once worked at the restaurant. I believe he will manage it with more dedication than I did, and I hope everyone will continue to support it.
Moving forward, I will still continue to handle cold meal services under my personal name, and I hope I will have the opportunity to frequently go to markets to sell fried fish and chips and meet old friends.
