Muxiangping｜Light hike on the alpine meadow

One day in January, it rained in Dali, a very cold rain. On the way down the mountain, Xiaoxi sent me a message: It should be snowing in Muxiangping, do you want to go? Wangwang, I want to go, I haven’t been there for a long time.

My hands were a little frozen, so I took out my phone and slowly replied with one word after seeing the message: Let's go. I have seen many scenery in Muxiangping, but I have never seen snow scenery.

I remember a few months ago, when we were walking in Muxiangping, my companion Yu Miao exclaimed: "I really want to take a nap here."

Taking a carefree nap among the deserted alpine meadows and blue sky and white clouds sounds very luxurious and dreamy, but looking at the surroundings of Muxiangping where we are, it feels that this is really achievable.

In fact, this is not the first time I have heard this sentence. On the hiking way to Jiuzu Mountain, when passing by Muxiangping, several friends who were walking with me said similar words, "Let's make this the end point", "How about we stay here a while longer", "I really want to lie down and do nothing", and so on.

Maybe it's my illusion, but no matter what season it is, there is always wind when walking in Muxiangping Ranch. There are always only us hikers, the cattle, the woodcutter and his packhorse. We are like the fixed lineup of Muxiangping, passing by each other and greeting each other.

Then hike to Muxiangping, where you can do nothing but chat, read, sleep, or climb to the stone house on the top of the mountain and look out at the Lengyan Pagoda on the top of Tianzhu Peak. When the view is good, you can even clearly see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain hundreds of kilometers away from afar.

Activities:

8 km in total, 300 m of ascent

We recommend that children be over 6 years old. If you are under 6 years old, please let us know and we will adjust the route according to the situation.

Activity schedule: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, depending on the season, the time in the reservation shall prevail.

It takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach the starting point of the hike. The total round trip distance is 8 kilometers. At 4:00 pm, we returned to Dali Ancient Town.

Meeting place: Pu Shi Bakery. Guests who live far away can be picked up along the way.
The tour fee includes: round-trip transportation, afternoon tea, and activity insurance.

Hiking preparation: a windproof jacket, 2 small bottles of water, ordinary sports shoes and hiking shoes.
