Some ideas about plant crafts

Agua

I have been doing handicrafts for more than ten years and have heard of various materials. I started with clay handicrafts, such as polymer clay, pottery, porcelain clay, and stone clay. They are suitable for shaping some specific images. I have also tried to shape 100 different polymer clay small objects, which I completed in the past two or three years. It seems that during that time, I have shaped all the things I wanted to shape. It can be regarded as a stage of completion.

Later, I also started to play with other materials, such as paper flowers, plasterboard paintings, and real plant-based crafts. But overall, most of my creations are based on plant and animal images. I used to use clay to mold flowers, plants, and various small animals, and then I used the outlines of plants to make relief paintings. Now I can use plants to make small animals and various decorations.

It seems that plants have natural warmth. Their own colors and shapes are part of nature. They don’t need too much decoration and are very attractive. Different parts of plants with different colors and shapes, such as flowers, fruits, leaves or branches, can be made into various gadgets and decorative paintings through some matching and combination. There is no need for too much artificial coloring. The effect of their own matching is very good.

In the past two years, plant-based handicrafts have gradually become more well-known from a category that is more popular science-oriented. When people go out for a walk or hiking, they can collect a lot of local plant fruits or leaves. Children can also make various fun and interesting small objects with plants with their parents, which makes childhood more fun. Interesting adults can also make some small things with the materials at hand to enrich their daily lives and decorate their good mood.

Plants are healing, and plant-based handicrafts are also healing. No matter whether you are a participant in plant handicrafts or the final owner of the plant handicrafts, you can feel novelty, happiness, peace and healing in the process.
