Immersive bird watching is based on the active time of birds, and the time will be adjusted accordingly according to different seasons. Generally, birds are most active in the early morning and dusk, so the activity time we choose is starting at dawn and ending when the temperature rises near noon.
The distance of bird watching on foot will be adjusted according to the fixed location. The distance of the observation route will be determined according to the bird conditions.

🌎What is bird watching?
Bird watching, or birding, is an environmental cognitive leisure activity that specifically refers to the use of observation equipment to observe birds in the wild. Identify bird species and observe and record their appearance, number, feeding methods, food composition, reproductive behavior, migration characteristics, and habitat.
🔭Why we are lucky to be able to watch birds in Dali:
Dali is located in the southern part of the Hengduan Mountains. The large altitude difference and abundant water resources in the area make it an ideal habitat for birds.
At the same time, as the intersection of the Central Asia-South Asia and East Asia-Australia routes in the world's migratory bird routes in winter, Dali has different groups of birds coming to Dali at different time periods from the end of September to the beginning of the next year. Dali has become a stopover for them on their migration route or a special place to spend the winter.
The wetland environment, mainly Erhai Lake, provides a rich food source for many aquatic and semi-aquatic birds including red-billed gulls, brown-headed gulls, white-crowned cranes, geese and ducks, making it a famous wintering spot for northern water birds in China.
🐦 Notes for bird watching:
1. Look more, listen more, communicate softly, make full use of the telescope, and gradually improve your observation ability;
2. Try to wear clothes that are similar in color to the surrounding area and avoid wearing clothes that are too bright.
3. Do not get close to birds unless necessary. Move slowly when approaching the target to avoid disturbing the bird.
