After the car started, I carefully examined He Chen's vehicle, which had many more interesting plants and stickers. The space inside for movement became increasingly smaller, full of vitality, making me feel like I was curled up inside the body of a gently roaring animal. We drove onto the highway, circled around Cang Mountain, watching its silhouette grow further and further away...

More than ten days ago, when Zhen Hao mentioned the forest we were going to on this trip, she was extraordinarily excited and searched for photos taken a year ago on her phone to show me.

Amongst the overlapping mountains of Yunnan, we have ventured into many forests. Gradually, we discovered and sensed that due to factors such as climate, terrain, vegetation, and human activities, each forest develops its own unique character.

We slowly climbed up the hillside, bypassed a group of cute stone statues, and entered this long-planned forest.

Trees, ferns, mosses, and lichens sprawl here, light and shadow flow, continuously transforming into varying shades of green.

Seeing the scene before our eyes, I believe everyone would be moved by the unique vitality here.

The 'feathers' of these ancient trees form soft curtains swaying in the wind, and we gently brushed past them as we advanced.

Stepping on the emerald meadows in the forest, the clouds drew closer and closer to us. “It feels like a primeval forest above the clouds,” He Chen suddenly remarked. I thought it was a fitting name if this forest needed one.

At the end of our sightline lay the undulating ridgeline of Cang Mountain, resembling a distant view of an overly bustling world.

And the clouds were at our feet.
