The studio is located in a renovated traditional Bai dwelling, which retains the original architectural structure and improves the comfort of the living space. It serves as both a studio and a living space.
Huazi, the owner of the leather goods store, is from Shandong in the north and now lives in the south. He is proficient in handicrafts and used to work as a carpenter.
The leather design studio is located in Shengjiu, a Bai village near the ancient city. For Huazi, leather is not just a material, but a way of life. In his home, you will find leather lampshades, leather sofas, leather dog mats, and even leather fly swatters. For him, leather can be all-encompassing, representing everyday wisdom and durability.
Huazi's leather production process:
He will teach participants to make durable leather goods such as card holders and belts. Whether for personal use or as gifts for family and friends, the handmade experience will add meaning.
