My name is Ashan, from Hengyang, Hunan. I, Ajin, and our daughter Shusha, can see the snow-capped Cangshan Mountain every morning, and at night, the stars are twinkling. The dry branches begin to sprout new buds, all of which evoke a sense of vitality.

By chance, I saw mouse-ear grass at the foot of Cangshan Mountain. I remember it can be made into Qingbazi, which is Qing Tuan (green rice balls). Naturally, I started harvesting it—harvesting itself is joyful. This happiness accumulates because I will see it transform from fuzzy grass into food, whether sweet or savory, all carrying a fresh, natural aroma. I hope this wonderful feeling can be shared with more friends.

In my memory, I was in the countryside fields with my mother, during a gentle drizzle, we went to pick Qing together. During the time living in Yuanhe's garden at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, we naturally went up the mountain and started harvesting mouse-ear grass, reminiscing about life with my mother. It was just an ordinary day, but it left a deep mark in my memory. — Yang Qiao

Nearby farmers began to till the soil. We left the original land with old grass, but in a foreign land, it became new soil—an unusual kind of nostalgia with the same flavor.
