The bread is baked very well (European bread, large amount of water, natural yeast). A ciabatta sandwich (stewed beef) and a cup of coffee are a good meal. Their chicken liver pate sandwich is also good. Pizza and desserts are good. There are also homemade specialty ice cream, wine, and cocktails, all of which are good. I am not a special expert in Western food, but I think the quality of the people and the food is very good. The location is near Dali University on Hongsheng Road, and it is often the starting point for our activities.

The beginning and development of Pu Shi Baking was a matter of chance. The shop started operating in 2021. Before coming to Dali, Rio was a fashion designer. When she met Locky, he was a rock climbing coach. They lived in the Om Cave for a while and often baked some pizza bread in the wood kiln in the yard to eat with friends. Everyone thought it was delicious. Later, it was not easy to make money from other jobs, so they thought of opening a bakery to sell some bread and pizza.

After renting the store, we went to Laos. We wanted to start decorating after returning from vacation, but we didn't expect the epidemic to start in Laos. Since we thought the store was already rented, we bought the first wave of price increase tickets and came back. If not, we would have been trapped in Laos for the next two or three years. The store opened soon, and then an Israeli guy named Alex became their partner. When the epidemic first broke out, he was traveling in India, and then he didn't know why he came to China where the epidemic was breaking out, and then stayed. He has rich experience as a chef and has traveled around the world. He contributed a lot of unique Western-style simple meals with a Mediterranean style, which is very different from the usual brunch. He himself is also very happy. He has always been a chef, following the requirements of the restaurant, but this time he followed his own ideas. At that time, it was an epidemic, everyone was very idle, and there were not many foreign travelers, so we often had the opportunity to chat together. Soon, Pu Shi became a store that was very popular with friends in the community. Later, because of its popularity, Pu Shi's space was expanded, and it was re-arranged and renovated, making it better.

Rio and Locky treat people very well, and they find good partners to work with. Working together, they create a friendly and comfortable space. We often drink coffee there, and even organize most of our activities for long trips. Even our team leaders, such as Xiao Li and Yang Mi, have worked in Pu Shi and still have a good personal relationship with each other.
