I planted a home in Dali | 35 Ten women's 772nd day in Dali

"Don't ask me where I come from, my hometown is far away"

Landing in Dali on February 14, 2022, is both a farewell and a reunion. For me, all choices are tangled in my heart. You need to make choices. When you choose to face yourself bravely, everything becomes clear. What illuminates the way forward is the belief in love and kindness in my heart.

Dali is the poetry and distant place of many people, just like Shangri-La is a fairy tale in my heart. When you reach the poetry and fairy tale in the distance, it is actually the real life. Looking back, the poetry and fairy tale are planted in your heart.

"Don't ask me where I come from, my hometown is far away." My hometown is in my heart, far and near, my home is in my heart. When I was young, I felt that the whole world was my home, which was pitiful and lonely, but when I could regard the whole world as my home, I felt free, lonely and sober.

What kind of space is the Breadfruit Garden? Is it a homestay? No, it is the home I planted in Dali. Breadfruit Garden = a home of sincerity + love + freedom + art. Only when there is distance can there be a look back. The Breadfruit Garden is willing to be your home far away, so that you can look back.

This 4-minute short video was made by Muhehuo Studio and I during our 33 days together under the breadfruit tree. They made it based on their feelings. At about 11 o'clock one night, when Qinqin and Huohuo were about to embark on their next journey, I decided to create it with them.

I hope that the Breadfruit Garden will be seen by more people who need it and who can feel it. Thank you Muhehuo Studio!
