Little Sheep | Camping Alone "Adventure"

A few days ago, I saw Xiaojing’s circle of friends posting a picture of him going camping alone. I thought it was very interesting. It seemed that I had never been to the mountains alone, let alone camping. I suddenly became interested and asked Xiaojing for the location.

I wanted to go check it out when the store was closed. Since I injured my knee while riding a bike in the rain two days ago, I chose a place that I could drive to. After deciding on the location, the next step was to prepare the things needed for camping.

The day before departure, I tried to prepare as much as possible to prevent any accidents. I thought about what I needed to bring for camping, including a table, stool, pot, stove, knife, raincoat, spare clothes, charger, mosquito repellent. There was no signal in the mountains, so I also brought a book. In order to make this trip more comfortable, I even brought a massager. After completing the hardware preparations, it was time to eat. People who never treat themselves badly when it comes to food must be fully prepared. All kinds of snacks, noodles, fruits, water and garbage bags were put into the basket and packed up to take away. Finally, I checked again to see if there was anything missing and waited for the next day.

I slept until I woke up naturally, had lunch and finally set off. I followed the navigation and the weather was surprisingly good along the way. The weather forecast said it would rain, but it didn't rain. Listening to music, my mood became more cheerful and excited as I got closer to the destination.

After I arrived at the location Xiaojing gave me, I found that it was not quite right. It was very different from the location Xiaojing described. I quickly asked Xiaojing if the location was correct, and then I drove along the path while looking at the map, trying to find the correct location myself. After a while, Xiaojing called me to tell me that the location he gave me was wrong, and sent me a new location. Although it was also called Ladder Slope, it was 40 kilometers different, so I set off again.

It was already past five in the afternoon. According to the navigation, it would take another hour to get to where I wanted to go. I drove as fast as I could in the right direction. Then there was an endless winding mountain road with many bends. I had to concentrate on driving. Xiao Jing said that there were many forks on the road and it was easy to go wrong. As expected, I went to a wrong fork. The car stalled when going uphill. The slope was very steep. It took a lot of effort to get up. As a result, I found myself in someone else's yard. I had no choice but to get off the car and ask the family how to get to where I wanted to go. The uncle was very kind and told me the right way, so I continued to set off in the direction he pointed.

Finally, I successfully arrived at the location before 6pm. Since there was no signal at the specific location and I couldn't accurately locate it, I needed to ask the local villagers how to get to the specific address and whether the car could enter. The villagers I met were very kind and enthusiastic. They told me the route, and I drove along the path.

When I saw the vast grassland and forest, I knew I had found the right place. I drove deep into the meadow and began to look for a place to camp. After I parked the car on a flat spot in the middle of the meadow, I couldn't suppress my excitement. I got out of the car without turning off the engine and began to look around.

Looking at the beautiful scenery, I couldn't help laughing and breathing in the fresh air. It was so beautiful! I felt like I was the happiest person in the world at this moment. I was filled with emotion and excitement. I looked at everything with curiosity and expectation. The gurgling stream, the goats scattered on the grass, the rustling cicadas and birds, all became very vivid at this moment. At this time, the afterglow of the sunset sprinkled on the meadow and on me, warm and cozy. Thinking back to the thrills along the way, I was even more satisfied with everything I saw at this moment. I was glad that I decided to camp alone.

After calming down, I started to set up camp. My car can lay all the seats flat, and then I just need to inflate the inflatable mattress and put it on the seat, just like a small bed. Then I put a small blanket on it, put a pillow, open the sleeping bag, and the nest for sleeping at night is ready.

After setting up the table and stools, I piled all the prepared food on the table, and then I couldn't wait to sit down and look at the scenery in the distance, emptying my mind. While it was still light, I started to cook noodles and enjoy the food. After eating and drinking, I quickly cleaned up the mess, turned on the massager, and read a book while enjoying the massage.

As it gradually got dark, I saw that it was nine o'clock, so I entered the carriage, lay on the small bed, turned on the light and continued to read. I could not concentrate on the book at home, but tonight I could concentrate on it easily. I finished the book unknowingly. I looked up and saw that it was twelve o'clock, so I prepared to wash up and go to bed, and set the alarm for seven thirty the next day.

Maybe it was because I was sleeping in the wild. Although I didn’t feel scared, it seemed that the excitement in my body had not faded yet. I couldn’t fall asleep at 4:30 in the middle of the night, so I thought about writing down today’s experience in detail. Now the sky is slowly turning white, and the heavy rain has finally arrived as promised.

It was raining heavily outside. Listening to the sound of the rain hitting the roof of the car, mixed with thunder from time to time, I felt sleepy again. If it was still raining heavily at 9:30, I would pack up and prepare to go down the mountain. Fortunately, the weather was very good and the rain stopped at 9:30. So I quickly packed my luggage, cooked some hot noodles and ate them. Then I started to explore the meadow forest on foot, picking things here and there. I forgot to take the basket when I left, so I had no choice but to put all the things I picked in my clothes. Seeing that it was already noon, I hurried back.

Although there is no signal in the mountains, it does not affect my happy mood. Looking at the full spoils in my hands, I feel very satisfied. I decided to find a new camping site next week.
