Xiaoyang | Memories of snow trip in Shangri-La
A few days ago, we heard that it was snowing in Shangri-La, so Aruna took the eight of us to Xiaozhongdian to see the snow. After buying food at the Shangri-La Farmer's Market, we returned to the herdsman's home in Xiaozhongdian. It was already afternoon when we got to the house, and it started snowing outside, one small snowflake after another. Yan Zi, Wang Wang, and Xiao Min went out to collect firewood, and when we came back, we added the firewood to the stove. Aruna and He Chen were busy in the kitchen, and they lit a blazing fire. All of a sudden, the cold air in the house dissipated, and everyone gathered around the stove to chat, eat, and drink. I was closest to the fire, and I felt my face was as red as a monkey's butt.
I heard He Chen yelling next to me that we felt like we were in a cabin in the snow, a scene from the movie novel "The Asama Sanso Murder Case", or like a team-building event at the Cangshan Hiking Home.
I immediately thought of the scene in a horror movie, a cabin in the snow, nine young men and women, afraid that one person would be missing or one person would be extra. "Haha! These are just imaginations," everyone joked.
After eating and drinking, just when we were about to fall asleep, we drove to Moon Lake to feel the cold air, snow and the quietness of no one. Everyone seemed to be particularly excited to see the snow. Xiaoqi, Hanhan and Hechen kept talking around everyone, their voices surrounded them 360 degrees, and they "attacked" everyone with indiscriminate words. The three puppies Danjian, Tuotuo and Xiaoxi were already having fun in the snow. Aruna and Xiaoqi rolled snowballs on the snow. Yanzi wore a white down jacket with a red scarf and stood in the snow. She was as beautiful as the heroine of the Japanese movie "Love Letter". Xiaomin's outfit was simple but also matched the surrounding snow scenery in an unusually harmonious way. Wangwang took pictures beside her and praised Yanzi for being so beautiful. Xiaoli wore a very cute woolen hat, didn't speak, and watched everyone playing and frolicking silently with his hands behind his back. He looked like a little old man from a distance.
I don't know who started it, but everyone started to grab the snow on the ground and started a snowball fight. In the end, it developed into a big fight, and whoever they caught was hit. He Chen was pressed to the ground, and everyone attacked him with snow. When we were tired of playing, we fell to the ground and looked up at the sky. The clouds were floating very fast, and time stopped for a moment. It was very quiet. It felt good to lie on the ground.
After walking in the snow and preparing to go back to the residence, Hanhan said he wanted to drive in the snow, so we waited by the side. As a result, his car broke down and the four-wheel drive would not move. He was stuck in the snow and could not move. Xiaoqi drove his car and started to show off his skills in the snow, drifting in circles on the spot. According to Wangwang, it felt pretty good. He took out the tow rope prepared in advance from the trunk and connected the two cars, successfully leaving Moon Lake.
While sitting around the stove, Wangwang suggested playing Texas Hold'em. Several team leaders were not very good at it, but they were willing to join in. Each of them held 20 melon seeds as chips and started the game without knowing the rules. The final winner was Aruna, who won 40 yuan and became the MVP of the game. It was already dark, so everyone went back to the house to rest.
The next morning, things started to become magical. Originally, I planned to drive to the mountains. At this time, Xiaoqi was in trouble. His car would not start. Maybe it was too cold, or maybe the engine was too cold. He tried various methods, such as drawing electricity, sucking oil, and pouring boiling water on the engine, but it didn't help. After tossing for most of the day, he still couldn't start the car. It was not until two o'clock in the afternoon that the reason was found. The oil pipe was not pumping oil. Only then did he decide to find a repair shop. Finally, he decided to call a tow truck and tow the car to Shangri-La for repair. After some negotiations, the price was 400. After several people discussed, the people who had something to do the next day took Hanhan's car back to Dali, and the rest of the people accompanied Xiaoqi to repair the car.
Hanhan, Yanzi, Xiaomin and I decided to leave first. Halfway through the drive, we passed the Baihanchang service area and thought of stopping to use the toilet and rest. Before the car stopped, we heard the hood gurgling. We opened the hood and saw that the water tank was overheated and boiling. The antifreeze was like boiling water. We quickly turned off the engine and tried to wait for the liquid to cool before setting off. Hanhan joked that it must be caused by He Chen changing the low-temperature antifreeze. It was all He Chen's fault.
At this time, we met two Beijing brothers who seemed experienced. They told us to start the car and turn on the fan to dissipate heat. The car would be ventilated to cool down quickly. So we started the car obediently and turned on the fan. In less than two minutes, the water tank leaked and the antifreeze was gushing out. It was all over the ground. The green liquid was dripping down like alien blood. The two experienced brothers saw that the situation was getting serious and asked us to turn off the engine and then drove away quietly. The four of us and three dogs were dumbfounded. We definitely couldn't continue driving in this situation. So, in different places, the same thing happened to us. We started squatting on the curb and called the repairman one by one. We even came up with a bad idea. If it didn't work, we would drive the car to the repair shop 17 kilometers away. As a result, the car leaked as soon as it started. To be on the safe side, the final result was to call a tow truck.
Now the two cars were killed one after another. I felt a little regretful that I didn't check the condition of the cars carefully before setting off. At least it would be more convenient for them to go to Shangri-La. It was a bit bad that we broke down on the highway.
At this time, we saw a tow truck with a car parked in the service area, and we wondered if we could ask the driver to take us to the repair shop, at least we were going the same way. So we quickly went up to negotiate, and the driver said yes, at least 500 yuan, but no other people, there were four of us and at most two people, and three dogs, and the remaining two people must not be left on the highway, then we asked the bus to Lijiang that had just stopped, we explained our purpose, and the driver agreed to take two of us to Lijiang, but each person would be charged 50 yuan, and the tow truck also asked us to pay the highway fee.
Finally, we decided to call a normal tow truck for 700 yuan. Four people and three dogs took us to the repair shop. This was my first time riding in a tow truck. It felt magical. The view was very good, like the view of driving a large truck. Now everyone relaxed again. Hanhan joked, "I saw a joke on the Internet before. The driver pretended to sleep, but the car was moving, as if he was asleep while driving." As he said that, he even pretended to be asleep. This joke was really stupid.
The two groups were in different places, but they were in the same situation. They went first, but no one was spared. On the bright side, they went to Shangri-La and we went to Lijiang, which was not bad. When we arrived at the repair shop, the problem in Shangri-La had been solved, but we were in trouble. Hanhan's car model was too rare, and there were no spare parts, which would take three days to arrive. I knew that if I wanted to go back to Dali today, I had to find another way.
Yan Zi found a reliable online taxi driver who specializes in driving from Lijiang to Dali. The fare is 80 yuan per person. At this moment, the four of us just want to go home early, take a comfortable hot bath and lie on the bed. Waiting for the car to arrive on the roadside, we looked like homeless people, carrying large and small bags and leading three dogs. Along the way, Yan Zi told us about her previous experience in Lijiang, and finally arrived in Dali at around 9:30 pm.
