Lumos | The aftereffects of camping on the west slope
The aftereffects of camping on the west slope were so strong that nothing seemed interesting to do after returning. I could only continue to sign up for activities at Cangshan Hiking Home. Dali is still the most fun place to have fun outdoors!
Our team leaders are Aruna and Wen Jianqi, I want to praise them! First praise the girls: Aruna's driving skills are amazing, and her photography is also amazing, and she takes pictures casually and pays attention to small details. Girls really understand girls, and boys never understand what girls are taking pictures of. Of course, don't force taking pictures, if you force it, please pay.
Xiaoqi is a young boy in his 20s who is good at knowledge. With him, we don't have to worry about the hike getting boring or the kids not being able to keep going. He helps us learn about insects and plants along the way and we find many beautiful mushrooms.
Both team leaders are very nice to the children ~
The whole trip was designed very smoothly. We gathered in the afternoon, and Aruna drove us to Ayan's house halfway up the west slope. We ate some fruit and drank some tea to rest, and went back to camp before it got dark, and then went back to have dinner. The food at Ayan's house was the only delicious food I had in so many days in Dali! When we went back at night, Ayan's dog Qian Duoduo followed us and accompanied us (eating) and (drinking). Our team finally had a dog!
After arriving at the camp, Xiaoqi made a fire and roasted milk tea, and brought a lot of snacks for us to eat, playing old music... Everyone ate, drank and chatted casually, it was so comfortable. At that moment, I really wanted my friends to be there. When I think of my friends, it must be a moment in a good place with a good atmosphere.
Because the child was sleepy, I took her to the tent to sleep. It was drizzling at this time. I thought the raindrops on the tent would be annoying and I would wake up early if I didn't sleep well. But it wasn't at all. The natural white noise was very hypnotic. When I opened my eyes, it was already nine o'clock. The two team leaders had almost finished breakfast. Qian Duoduo was excited to visit everyone. The happy puppy really gave full emotional value.
Sitting inside the canopy, the rainy west slope was even more beautiful. The fog in the valley continued to rise until it reached our feet. I could almost touch the clouds with my hands... Fortunately, I brought some pre-brewed cold brew, made a cup of American coffee, ate the bread baked by Xiaoqi and the noodles cooked by Aruna, watched the clouds and listened to the rain. It was almost perfect.
After breaking camp, we hiked together into the primeval forest. This period of time was Xiaoqi's highlight moment, haha. Our 5-and-a-half-year-old girl usually complains after walking for 5 minutes, but this time she walked the entire journey (about three or four hours) without making a fuss.
After the hike, we went to Sister Ayan's house for a big meal. It was so delicious.
Finally, I would like to thank Aruna and Xiaoqi again for their efforts in giving us such a wonderful experience. I look forward to the opportunity to play together again.
