Weed Scene | Diary·Departure
November 18 afternoon
Sister Phoebe invited me to her house for dinner. A few days ago, she said that the table had not been cleaned yet, and she would invite me to dinner after it was cleaned. For Sister Phoebe, if she wanted to clean that table, it would definitely take a lot of time and energy, and it would take ten days or half a month. I don’t understand this, but I can only understand it because she is Sister Phoebe who is different from ordinary people.
I asked Sister Feibi what time would be a good time to go to her house for dinner. She said she had just finished something and wanted to sleep for a while, so I should go at 6 o'clock. It was just right, so I could play at home.
I arrived a little after 6 o'clock. Sister Feibi asked me to pick a book from her bedroom and bring it to the living room to read while she went to cook noodles. I picked a book called "Travel Often" and two other books whose names I forgot. I read a few pages of "Travel Often" in Nian Nian's store many years ago. It's been a long time, but I still want to pick it out and read it when I see it now.
Sister Feibi cooked two plates of pasta. However, when I wrote this, I actually forgot what was in it. I just remember that it was a little special. Haha, I am so ashamed. It seems that a diary should be recorded in real time to be accurate. Before the noodles were served, Sister Feibi took out a delicate paper towel with flowers printed on it. I thought it was for wiping my mouth. Then she moved the pasta to the flower paper towel, and I realized that it was used to pad the plate.
Then she took out a few candles and lit them. Me: Do I need to turn off the lights? Her: No, I can’t take pictures of the candles if I turn off the lights. Me: You really look like a silly straight man who wants to be romantic. Finally, she turned off the lights, and she looked so cute.
When we were leaving, Sister Feibi took out a bag of Torreya grandis and said: If you like it, take it back. Me: OK. Then she took out a hand cream: Do you want this? Me: OK, I want it. Every time we met, she would give me a little gift to take home. One time it was bread and ham, another time it was a nano cleaning sponge, etc.
As for Sister Feibi, I think everything she does and how she does it is cute. Maybe it’s because she only has herself in her head.
November 21 afternoon
The temperature dropped today. At around 4 o'clock, I watched a new movie by Hong Sang-soo, "By the Stream", on B Station. It was similar to the previous filming style, and the plain narrative was easy to hypnotize, but I liked it. After watching it, I lay in bed because I was sleepy and set an alarm for 30 minutes later because I don't like the feeling of waking up after dark.
The wind was howling outside the window, very fierce. Raindrops followed the wind and hit the glass window next to the bed. I was so worried that the glass would be blown to pieces. If it suddenly broke, I would be hit. So I covered my head with the quilt. The windy season probably really came with this rain. Because I was afraid that the window would suddenly break and affect my sleep, I simply turned off the alarm clock and dozed off until it was completely dark.
November 23, morning
I woke up at 8:30 and listened to some English and drank a cup of hot water. At 10:30, I wanted to lie down for a while. The bed sheet was a little cold and it didn't feel warm even after I covered myself for a long time.
At 11:30, I still couldn't fall asleep, so I thought I should get up and start packing. At 12:00, I had to get up because I needed to hang out the pants in the washing machine. I should also clear out the extra things in the van and only put in what I needed to bring this time: camping equipment, quilts, winter clothes, and personal items for Haha.
I plan to set off tomorrow. After all, the bicycle I bought has arrived and I have no better reason to delay any further, but deep down I really want to delay it for another day.
In the afternoon, after finishing packing the things in the van, I decided not to leave tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I would just leave whenever I want. Although the house in Yangshuo has been rented, no one requires me to move in on time.
A few days ago, Jason and I looked at the folding bicycle that He Chen bought for him on Xianyu. When buying it, He Chen specifically told the seller: "It needs to be made better, because I will use it for school in Japan." When he said this, Jason smiled at the message.
The white bicycle is a bit short and looks very suitable for shopping for groceries. It is different from the traditional bicycles, which are for adults but this one is for children.
Because there was no wrench, the pedals were not completely tightened. Jason couldn't wait to try it out. He Chen said that it would be easy to break if he pedaled it this way, but he still let Jason ride it for a few meters in front of the store. At that time, I had a picture in my mind: Jason was pressing on this small bicycle, humming and humming hard to climb the hill. Jason said he liked this kind of princess bike the most. It looked childish and was easy to ride, which was not bad. Then, I also bought a low-end version, thinking that I would take it with me when it arrived.
December 26
Today, Li Zhenhao's bed sheet shop opened, and Jason and I made an appointment to go together. I saw a bunch of yellow flowers, which were groundsel , so I picked a bunch. Yang Mi came to see me, and I asked her if she wanted to go to Li Zhenhao's shop together. Yang Mi said that she didn't prepare any gifts. I pointed to the groundsel and said: Just take this, I can get the hot pot base. So we drove off separately. I arrived first, and the gift was in my hand. I didn't get out of the car because I wanted to wait for Yang Mi to join us. Jason's car was gone, he went back to work first, and he has been a workaholic recently. After waiting in the car for more than ten minutes, Yang Mi still hadn't arrived. She didn't answer the phone, so I was a little worried. He Chen found me sitting in the car, so I got out of the car and went in. Five minutes later, Yang Mi came with a jar of green plum wine as a gift.
In the evening, we cooked together at Jason's house. Jason cooked the scallion fish first. It smelled delicious. I pinched a piece with my hands and it was delicious. At this time, He Chen and Li Zhenhao had not arrived yet. Yang Mi and I couldn't help but secretly took a quarter of it with chopsticks to eat.
That night we drank another kind of wine that Yang Mi brewed: a mixture of green plum and sea buckthorn . After just two or three cups, I got drunk and cried for a while. I can't remember the specific reason. I only vaguely remember that there was always the background sound of Li Zhen talking, maybe she was desperately looking for topics to ease the atmosphere. But for an extremely relaxed drunkard, it didn't feel awkward.
It has been several years since I cried because of drinking.
December 3 evening
Driving home from Shaxi with Yang Mi, these two days were probably the most relaxing and fun ones I have ever had in a group trip. There were Wangwang, He Chen, Xiao Qi, Feng Xiaochun, Aruna, Lao Li, Yang Mi, and Jason. During the process, Xiao Qi and He Chen were like two children around 5 years old.
Probably because I had enough fun, on the way home, I set a departure time. Yang Mi sat on the abandoned hot water pipe on the top floor and asked me: Do you want to wait until the pig-killing meal on the 7th before setting off. Yang Mi rarely makes such suggestions, so I asked her one more question: Do you want to go with me? She answered: Yes. I was very happy to hear this answer. I really thought about it for a while, but decided not to wait. Although the pig-killing meal is super delicious and I really want to eat it. But if the time I finally decided is broken, maybe there will be other reasons for me to continue to delay. Although this "departure" is actually not important in reality.
December 05
At noon, Jason and I had lunch at the Old Moon in the ancient city. We couldn't put tables and chairs at the door today, so we went up to the second floor and found a seat. I remembered the first time we came here to eat five years ago. At that time, there was almost as much snow on the top of Cangshan Mountain as there is now. We were complicated back then. And we are simple now.
At 3pm, we finally set off. 1,400 kilometers, this was the first time I had to drive such a long distance, so I wanted to delay.
