Huan Huan | Sting

I met Sting when I just opened the store ten years ago. I received the very fresh and tender salad leaves that he sent to the store. They were packed in a bamboo basket and covered with cotton cloth. It was environmentally friendly and simple.

I didn't know how to accept the kindness of strangers at that time, so I asked how much the salad was. Sting insisted that it didn't cost money and said that the best thing was what you could use.

I opened a bread studio in 2020 and posted an advertisement on WeChat Moments. Sting came to buy bread and transferred 200 yuan to me to arrange it. I’m not sure if he really needed it or was just helping a friend.

I asked him about his taste in bread, and made a list of several types of bread for him. His repeated "thank you, thank you" made me even more uneasy, fearing that he might not necessarily like bread and was just trying to help me.

Later, Sting bought bread several times, and each time he directly transferred 200 yuan and let me deduct the money myself. But he always gave me feedback on the taste, so I felt relieved and believed that what he said, "the bread is delicious", was true.

The bread studio opened for business a year later and that short experience earned me the kindness of strangers.
