Phoebe

Phoebe is from Jinhua, Zhejiang, and is a freelance translator of Japanese, French, and English. In the past she focused on patent translation, but later chose to translate only topics she is passionate about, and live a simple but rich life. She enjoys drawing manuals, studying nature, and writing. So although she has no formal background in painting or botany, I think she is the best guide for "Nature Observation and Notes". Goodbye 2024 and hello 2025

2024 is a great year. I finally turned my hobby of the past few years into a new job. Some people say that turning a hobby into a job may not be fun. It is not! In "Writing from My Heart", Natalie Goldberg quoted an Indian yogi's words: "Teach in order to learn." How can it not be fun to have the opportunity to overcome laziness and push yourself to learn and accumulate more deeply in the field of your hobby?

2024 is a year in which I spent a lot of time outdoors. I saw many lovely creatures, and their beauty and wonder amazed me. In 2024, I also met many people, met many lovely teachers, and felt a lot of love and kindness. In 2024, I also enjoyed many internal benefits of Cangshan Hiking Home, had many new experiences, and tried all kinds of handicrafts that I had never thought of! In short, 2024 was a year of good things, and I am grateful. It is really difficult to choose 20 photos of the year, so just do it casually.
